Toughen up Little One

I know how it is like being rejected.
I know how it is like being left out in the cold.
I know how it is like, really.
God loves me still, despite all that.
I should remember He was rejected as well.
I should remember He was not welcomed at one point at a time.
I should remember He was not cared for.
Then why am I feeling so rotten and sad?
Why do I put such a high expectation? Why?
God, now I know how You hurt... even more hurt than what I appear to be feeling inside.
Oh God.........
I really don't belong here.
